So we went to see The Lion King a few nights ago. My sister LOVED it! I was annoyed by all of the children shouting and laughing also paying ten bucks a person to see something I have at home. When it came out my mother bought it and my sister is always watching it. She just told my mom "I killed Mufasa". She cracks me up just thought I would share that.

School is going really well. I am going to school for cosmetology. I've been going for three weeks now and I love it! My kit is HUGE! Today I learned how to style the hair in a French Twist.

Tuesday we had Free Day. That's when we get to practice on each other and have a service done. I got some really nice caramel highlights. The day before I got a pink highlight for breast cancer. lol my nose looks funny in the picture.

We are home from Virginia. We recently met up with some of the families from my parents travel group.

It was amazing seeing how the girls got along so well. I didn't go to China with my parents. I wish I could have. Everyone in the group seemed to have this special bond. I felt so left out when they would talk about the trip to China. The lake was absolutely beautiful! I didn't go tubing, but I did go on the boat and it was really fun! Some of the houses on the lake are crazy big!! The only real downside to the trip was finding a tick on my head! I don't like bugs so you can imagine how i felt about a blood sucking bug on my head.

Why my senior year sucked

So I have really gone through a LOT this year!!! Senior year was so stressfull. I had to work in the daycare (which I LOVED!!), take a psychology class, and deal with more drama than I wanted to. Let me explain the drama thing. I wanted the best year. I rode the bus with my best friend we were SOO excited. She introduced me to a new girl and they both seemed to get along pretty well. A few months go by and we are drifting apart. I was slowly losing my best friend to this other girl and I wasn't happy. My friend would just ignore me on the bus and that didn't help with the issues from my childhood.

One day I tell her I want to know what's wrong. She wrote me a note saying all these nasty things about me that bother her! I didn't even know I did most of the stuff and I didn't know it bothered her. I wrote back something and she told me she wanted to sit with her new friend. . . in our senior seat.. that seat was equally both of ours. I was SOO mad. I couldn't believe that someone I trusted so much with secrets stabbed me in the back. I understood what it felt like to have a broken heart. Yeah I know we were just friends, but I still cared about her because I make sure I'm a good friend. Well anyways she told me I couldn't sit in the seat anymore and I was forced to ride somewhere else in the mornings. My real friends told me to sit in MY seat in the afternoon. She saw me and just sat in a different seat. The rest of the year was just awkward. I hated the bus. The ironic thing is her friend stopped riding the bus so she sat by herself. After she did that to me I found a REAL friend. She actually cares about my feelings and she's helped with a ton of problems in my life. It's mostly guy troubles.

It feels really good writing my problems out. I can think clearly. Well that is why my senior year sucked! hopefully you all are careful choosing friends!!!

Hey so now that I have a laptop it should be easier to blog. I am so excited to have it! I love my laptop SOOO much!! It's an ASUS laptop. I got it for my birthday and graduation I also helped pay for it. It feels really good to be a graduate and now i'm 18 so it feels even better!! So for an update. . . In a week i'm gonna be on my way to Virginia for a reunion with our travel group. I have only met a few of the families. I get to see my good friend Ashton. In three years when two of my friends graduate i'm going to take them to Texas! I'm really looking forward to the trip. I think I am excited because I'll get to go somewhere i've never been also I wanna see cowboys! What girl wouldn't want to see a cowboy and dance with them? September I start school! I'm going for cosmotology. I'm nervous about waxing but who wouldn't? seriously you yank hair out of people of course it hurts! Oh well I'll have teachers helping me.

So my school will be going to March For Life again this year. I'm ubber excited!!!!!! I am currently sick right now. ugh I hate this. I can't go see my (great) aunt linda, and that makes me mad because they found cancer in her again and she gets sick very easily. :-( So sorry I haven't posted in a while I thought something was wrong with my blogger turns out it's just me and my blondeness kicking in again. In two weeks my family will be going to Chinese New Year. . . which is actually the day before March For Life i think. School is crazy!

Valentines day and some other stuff

Ok so if you know me you know that i am single. . . . well Valentines day is coming up and well it's kind of put a whole damper on the single thing ya know??? Some of you might know about Singles Awareness Day AKA S.A.D lol. . . that is too funny!!! However i keep remembering that i'm am saving myself for my future husband and i don't want to date right now because when you date your giving that Boy a little piece of your heart so on your wedding night you can't give your husband your whole heart. . . haha awww. So i really want to get a purity ring and i have found some that are cheap but SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I ride a public school bus and i'm am constantly hearing things about sex and drugs and well i just want to slap some of them!!!!! Anyways back to what i was going to talk about. My friend Emily who is not a Christian, but listens to what i have to say( i LOVE her!!! jk) understands the whole purity thing and she wants a purity ring too!!!! I am so excited for her. I have been playing all kinds of Christian music like Skillet!!! and Toby Mac, Hawk Nelson, and i forget what else so maybe i can get her to come to church some time. . . you know what I'm thinking right now???? I am thinking this is the longest post I've ever written !!!!!!! So we need to pray for my dear friend Ashton her family is trying to get home from adopting their sweet little boy from China and their plane has been delayed to 3 in the morning. Hey I'm back and i'm so sorry it took me so long to write a new post i forgot my password so i just reset it. Not much has changed around here. My brother went off to the Citadel it's a military college in South Carolina. We miss him a lot and we hope he sticks it through. today is his last day of HELL WEEK. it's a week full of pretty much training and it's not the least bit fun. Meighan is talking a lot and she is getting a little annoying sometimes but i still love her. I'm fine i am starting 11th grade woot woot! we recently got to meet up with rices and reeces we had a blast! well better help with meighan.

I know i haven't posted in a while i've transfered schools so i'm getting used to a new schedule (ex. getting up early, working much harder). I like getting to see my old friends and having teachers i can talk to when i need to. I'm at my aunts house right now visiting with some friends of theirs from South Carolina. I was thinking about doing a special blog with Ashton. It would be about our travel group. it would talk about when in China, when we have reunions planned. I think it would be a clever idea for our group because even thought I didn't go to China there is a very special bond between everybody especially the girls. ok before I begin my post I want to say thanks to Ashton for telling you guys how things were going in Disney World. I'll post pictures of that later.

I would like to welcome my bffl (best friend for life) Abby to the blogger world! For those of you who read/ follow my blog i would like you to go and welcome her. Her blog is called Expressing myself through music. I am sorry I don't post to often it's hard being a 10th grader in Cyber School. I'm hoping that next year I can go back to French Creek because cyber school is not very fun.

I am SOOOOOO excited in July my b-day I will be able to LEGALLY drive!!!!!!!!!! My parent's of course are scared for their lives they think i will crash within the first hour. Oh and tomorrow I'm getting my own Bed Head straightener!!!!!!!! I'm getting the 1" in pink. It's going to be just like Ashtons. Ash was the one who told me to get a bed head, well so did her mom and I trust her mom for ANYTHING having to do with fashion.

Ashton is going to redesign my blog! I'm getting like a hot pink strip thing, but to save Ashton the trouble lucky me is going to copy it on too my layout! haha wish me luck on that. I was the one that added my title thingy so it should be easy, but I am no computer nerd that's for sure!

Meighan is starting to talk a lot more! she can say all kinds of things. We think it's because she is going to power zone (childrens ministry at our church) and she is with a lot more children. While in Disney she would say things like "Happy are you dada?" it was very funny hearing my sister talking like yoda!

I'm SO sorry I havn't posted in a while I've been very busy with school (after all i am in 10th grade). I got my very first pedi (pedicure)! It was very relaxing. there were a few times i wanted to laugh cause it sometimes felt really funny. I got a really cute hot pink color and got white polka dots added. it was the best day of my life (until we went to the nutcracker and i saw my ex- best friend.)

Hey you guys I need you to pray for me. One night after practice I had to go rescue the dog from a pine tree and when I let her loose she ran for the door and the rope we have her hooked up to was behind me and before I could move the rope got me and left a nasty and painful rope burn. It still hurts like crazy, but it's getting better. Every once in a while my leg goes numb and my mom thinks It got a nerve. I also need you to pray that I feel better I've been having a runny nose and a sore throat. I don't want to get sick right now so please pray that I get better.

I haven't been to Chucke Cheese's in FOREVER!!!!! We went there after one of my games we were right in Erie and we had cupons so we thought we should go! I am a lot better at the games now that I'm much older, mature . . . well lets just face it more competitive! I beat my own father at a game their!!!! (doin a happy dance right now) There were a couple games that I wasn't good at but most of them I was pretty good at. Like ski balls boy do I love that game!!!! I got very in touch w/ my inner child that night! Meighan liked Chucke as long as he more like her (the person that was chucke was a girl) stayed away from her she loved him! HAHAHA we thought It would be good to get her ready for Disney by seeing a character. Here is some info about Disney.

Septmber 7th my beautiful baby sister was born! She turned 2 just a few days ago and I can't believe how old she is getting!!! Sometimes I just wish I could frezze time. For Meighan's b-day we gave her a few things we got at the Disney store. We gave her a tea set and a Mulan cup boy does she love her gifts!!!! We have tea parties all the time and she loves to have milk in her cup!

Today is Anna Grace's Birthday!!!!! Go over to Ashton or her mom's blog too wish her a Happy Birthday! She is 2 today! I can't believe how much Anna has changed! She talks a LOT and she speaks in sentences! She is one smart girly! Happy B-Day Anna Grace!!!!!

We Won!!!!!!!! We also won our game that we had Tuesday!!!!! I am LOVING volleyball!!!!! Tonight I served the ball (I wasn't very happy about it) I got it over the net!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is one of the first times for me. As soon as it went over the net I could hear people cheering for me it was a wonderful feeling! I couldn't stop smiling after that, but I told myself to stop smiling so I wouldn't lose my focus. I still haven't gotten any pixtures yet but I will. I thought I would just tell you guys how how it went.

I thought I would tell you guys how things are going. Today at church I saw Josh. we invited him to sit with us but he asked me to . . . . . . . . . .(building suspense). . . . . . . . . . .walk with him and go see his frineds. lol. we were all talking together for a while then Andy Kerr came over and talked to us. He is one of our funniest pastors from our church. After he left we started talking again during this whole time josh is not standing near me and goofing off (that's what he does best). Then the service started up and I tried to find my mom. I looked around and saw josh wanting to come sit with me (awwwwwwwwww that was the best part) but he couldn't some guy I don't know was sitting next to me (thanks a LOT mr.). My next game is tuesday with warren. Thursday is our next home game. I'm going to see if Josh can come to it.

Volleyball game

Last night was our first volleyball game! My serving was ok I'm still not very good at it but at practice one night I got it over 3 times. Back to the game when I served it went over but it was out big bummer, but I wasn't the only one that didn't hit it very well. I tried to make contact with the ball, but it was my first game so I didn't expect myself to do that good. we lost :-( it was like 15-12. Last night was also my brothers first soccer game, they won. We are home alone with meighan while my mom scrapbooks. so we are trying to keep her entertained. Got to go now I'll post pix of the next game.

Listen to Lauren & I it is by Celtic Thunder one of my new favorite celtic bands. I love them I am So proud of my Irish heritage! I Love this song, but I listend to the words (and found the lyrics) and it doesn't look like it will be able to be our song. I'm not sure besides josh has never even heard this song lol!!!!!!!!! The boy that sings this almost sounds like josh except he doesn't have an irish accent and josh can't sing (but I don't care) If you change his voice around it would sound like josh! How weird is that!!!!!

Because I set up that new email address I was able to put music on my blog! For some reason it said my email was already taken so I couldn't create an account. The first three songs are for my Aunt Peety!!!!!! She LOVES Kelly Clarkson. I added Last Name for Anna Grace and I added Cinderella in honour of Maria Sue Chapman. When the accident happend I told myself that when I'm older and adopt from China I would name my daughter After Maria. We were watching Larry King Live last night and both my parents were crying for the whole hour.

volleyball practice

Volleyball practice is going great!!!!!!! I am making contact with the ball which is good for me cause I'm afraid of balls coming at me when their in the air. You might think I sound crazy but I have had a few slightly bad experiences with balls. When I was in third grade I was going to school at Calvary baptist and I was in the gym walking and a basketball came down and hit me in the head and I have been afraid of balls ever since. I really need to work on my serving, but my spiking is pretty good I've gotten it over the net like 8 times!!!!!!! This is my first year of volleyball and I alredy love it!!!! Ashton said she would help me if she ever came up soon or if I came down (but I think it her familys turn to visit us!). I have some VERY exciting news!!!!!! The first week of camp I became very good friends with Josh he is very sweet and funny. One night we were acting really goofy and everyone automatically thought we liked each other. Everyone kept trying to tell me he liked me. This week at camp HE TOLD ME HE HAS A CRUSH ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also like him he is the nicest boy I have ever meet!!!!!! He gave me a birthday card that says "With all the mindless care"!!!! lol!!!!! Denise (the owner of the camp I work @) told me that ment he was trying to tell me he LIKED me without actually saying it.

Camp was AMAZING!!!!! I had SOO much fun!!! I scooped poop most of the week but other than that it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After classes were over and it was time for lunch I would get to ride up to the barn on Nibbs my FaVoRiTe horse! (I'll get a pix of her next week) and thats how I got to ride. I am SOO sad that we are home. we got back at about 6 or 7 last night. I'm sorry i didn't write a post i was SOO tired. Myrtle beach was awesome! I got a pretty good tan! lol!!!!! We went to Dixie Stampede one night and it was amazing! When we were leaving meighan said see ya later to one of the guys that worked there! We got to see Bethany and she was such a cutie! IT'S SUMMER!!!!! I am SOO happy it is Summer vacation!! I'm ready for camp to start soon!! The plays are going really well! Last night we learned the dance steps for stick to the status quo! Well we arrived in SC at about 10:00am Thursday and Ashton got home from school at about 3:40. We went to the mall to get my Vera Bradley! I ended up getting a Vera Bag in the Raspberry Fizz!! We are having SOO much fun!! Yesterday at about 2:00pm Nikki and Ella came down to Ashton's house!! Last night we went to Build-A-Bear to get the new Panda that just came out!!! (Panda's are what Meighan's providence is known for) We also went to a Chinese Restaurant called Oriental House!!! We then went back to their house and Ashton and I slept upstairs on the couch and Nikki and Ella slept in Ashton's room!! Meighan had a tummy ache last night so i was glad i was sleeping in the other room!!! Meighan, Anna Grace, and Ella are having SOO much fun together!!! Well I hate to say this. . . Dorothy is dead. Last night when I was at the mall w/ my mom and sister we were having LOTS of fun. I got a cute outfit from Aeropostale we even went to Baskin Robins for ice cream (they were selling it for 31 cents). When we were coming home we forgot completely about Dorothy! When we came home she wasn't floating on the top she was down on the bottom:(. After Meighan went to bed we had a little funeral. We only had her for about a week. My family is NOT good w/ fish they ALWAYS die basically as soon as we get them! So my mom might go back to Wal-Mart to get another fish for 28 cents!

I LOVE this video of Meighan! At one point she was chasing me around the entrance way! I know I havn't been updating my blog but I've been SO busy w/ soccer and camp training. I hope you enjoy it I'll share more w/ you later. This is a picture of Meighan trying my sunglasses on!

I started soccer and I thought I would tell you guys how its been going. I have learned many things like how to run while making the ball move. The coolest thing I have learned so far is how to use the tip of my hair line to hit the ball! It takes a LOT of practice to learn how to do that and it also hurts if you hit it wrong like when I was practicing it hit my nose! OUCH!!!!!!!! I am kind of suffering from a cold or maybe my allergies are kicking in. I have good/ bad news. My dads job has been very unsure meaning the family card buisness is going down the toilet :( but the good news is because of that we are kind of talking about moving down south to South Carolina! A bunch of people that travled to china w/ my family live in that area! Check out these pictures!

I am SO happy to say that i'm am going to be in Cinderella and High School Musical! When I got there They taught us the songs they wanted us to sing. Us girls sang The song Ten Minuets ago from Cinderella the Rodgers & Hammerstein's version. We start practicing in June after school is out!! I don't have any speaking parts but thats because they will be my first plays. But I will be in like the choir so I'm very excited!

Eight Months!!!!

We have officially had Meighan for eight months now! The time has gone by SO fast since my parents brought her home she has learned to walk, talk, and she has gotten more teeth!

Then (July 2nd)

Now She knows how to say Moma, Dada, Bruder (brother), Rara (kara), Yaya (sasha), uh oh, hi. She can also growl like a tiger, meow like a cat and some other stuff which I can't think of right now. It is SO cute!!!

Our community theater is having auditions for cinderella and I think High School Musical also. I'm going to audition and that means singing in front of people which i'm NOT good at. I'm going crazy thinking of the songs I can sing and i'm trying to choose one. My 2 cousins are going to be auditioning also so i'll have some support. Jillian is doing Peter Pan right now she is tinkerbell. I went to the play last night and they were both SO cute! Ellie is an indian in the play. In one of the scenes tinkerbell has to drink poison (not really) and when she was dying (again not really) it was just so funny watching her and after Peter Pan had us clap to bring tink back to life she did a back handspring! I just think it's SO amazing to see my 7 year old cousin doing all kinds of tumbling!!!!

The party was SO much fun me and my friend linnae had a great time dancing we did the Chicken dance and some other dances. My parents enjoyed meeting new people and talking to friends. The little kids got to watch a puppet show and listen to a book. It was a wonderful night, but it would have been even better if the Rice family could have been their. Just in case you were wondering I did NOT get my hair permed it is still straight a few people asked me at the party.

Hello Everybody!!!! Well I have to say Meighan is SO stubborn when we go to pick her up she gets all limp and fussy. Not much has been going on here tommorow before 8 (to early for me) i'm going to the doctor for my physical I need one for soccer and cheerleading. I found out that my school PA Cyber has a myspace page so I created one and it's so much fun because I get to meet other kids from my classes! I also found out that there are way more Karas, Karahs ect. out there than I thought amzing because I thought Kara was an unpopular name. Well I better go get ready for bed I don't want to be cranky tomorrow when I go to the doctors office.

New Blog design and thinking about summer

I hope you all like my new Blog design Ashton did a wonderful job! I was thinking about what i'm going to do this summer and boy am I going to be busy! I might be volunteering at a camp called Mystic Mountain by helping out with horses and teaching kids how to ride. One week when I don't have to work My family might be going to Myrtle Beach to meet up w/ some familys that went to China w/ my parents. I am SO excited because i'll get to hang out w/ Ashton!!!!!
